SADE DISCOGRAPHY
Helen Folasade Adu, OBE, (born 16 January 1959), better known as Sade, is a British singer-songwriter, composer, and record producer. She first achieved success in the 1980s as the frontwoman and lead vocalist of the popular Brit and Grammy Award winning English group Sade
Sade was born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. Her middle name, Folasade, means honor confers your crown. Her parents, Bisi Adu, a Nigerian lecturer in economics of Yoruba background, and Anne Hayes, an English district nurse, met in London, married in 1955 and moved to Nigeria. Later, when the marriage ran into difficulties, Anne Hayes returned to England, taking four-year-old Sade and her older brother Banji to live with her parents. When Sade was 11, she moved to live at Holland-on-Sea with her mother, and after completing school at 18 she moved to London and studied at the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design.
While at college, she joined a soul band, Pride, in which she sang backing vocals. Her solo performances of the song Smooth Operator attracted the attention of record companies and in 1983, she signed a solo deal with Epic Records taking three members of the band, Stuart Matthewman, Andrew Hale and Paul Denman, with her. Sade and her band produced the first of a string of hit albums, the debut album Diamond Life, in 1984, and have subsequently sold over 50 million albums. She is the most successful solo female artist in British history.
In 2002, she appeared on the Red Hot Organization's Red Hot and Riot, a compilation CD in tribute to the music of fellow Nigerian musician, Fela Kuti. She recorded a remix of her hit single, "By Your Side," for the album and was billed as a co-producer.

HOUSE OF PAIN DISCOGRAPHY
House of Pain is an American hip hop group who released three albums in the 1990s before lead rapper Everlast left to pursue his solo career again. The group's name is a reference to the H.G. Wells novel The Island of Dr. Moreau, a reference carried further by the naming of their 2011 tour "He Who Breaks the Law." The group is best known for its 1992 hit single "Jump Around", which reached #3 in the United States, #6 in Ireland and #8 in the United Kingdom. The group broke up in 1996 but reformed in 2010 as House of Pain, after the trio had been members of supergroup La Coka Nostra for several years.

BLONDE REDHEAD DISCOGRAPHY
Blonde Redhead is an American rock trio comprising Kazu Makino and twin brothers Simone and Amedeo Pace.
Amedeo and Simone Pace were born in Milan, Italy, grew up in Montreal (Saint-Léonard), but later moved to Boston to study jazz. After earning Bachelor's degrees, they entered the New York City underground music scene. Named after a song with the same title by DNA, a no wave band from New York, the band formed in New York in 1993 with Japanese musician Kazu Makino.
Blonde Redhead's self-titled debut album was released in 1995. Shortly afterward, 4th member Maki Takahashi left the band and was replaced by her friend Toko Yasuda as bassist who also was only in the band for a short time. The band continued as a trio. On their third album, Fake Can Be Just as Good, they were joined by Vern Rumsey of Unwound, who filled the role of guest bassist. On their more recent albums, Skúli Sverrisson, who the twins knew from their time in Boston, has been playing bass. He sometimes joins them for live performances. On their fourth album, In an Expression of the Inexpressible, Guy Picciotto of Fugazi was hired as producer. Picciotto also contributed in the construction to the song "Futurism vs. Passeism Part 2" as well as lending it his vocals. Picciotto also produced with Ryan Hadlock at Bear Creek Studio the band's records Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and Misery Is a Butterfly. Alan Moulder (My Bloody Valentine, Nine Inch Nails, U2, Smashing Pumpkins) mixed 23 and Penny Sparkle which was released on 4AD, respectively in April 2007 and September 2010.
Blonde Redhead made extensive use of Teisco guitars early in their career, including the uncommon Teisco six-string bass.
The large span of time between Melody of Certain Damaged Lemons and Misery Is a Butterfly is attributed to Makino's recovery time after being trampled by a horse. Much of the visual and lyrical imagery of Misery Is a Butterfly is reflective of the accident, especially in the music video for "Equus".
The song "Spring and by Summer Fall" from 23 was recently used in the introduction to an October 2007 episode of the CBS series Numb3rs. "23" also appears on the internet and television commercials for the 2009 Pontiac promotion entitled "Experience Pontiac." Their song "Elephant Woman" was also used as the ending theme for the David Slade film Hard Candy. This song was also used on the Billabong Girls website in February 2008.
The track "23" was also used in a trailer for the British TV series Skins in February 2008, an ad for Crystal Geyser in May 2008 in Japan, and an episode of Grey's Anatomy.
In summer 2008, they wrote and recorded over 15 tracks for the score of the documentary feature film The Dungeon Masters. The documentary premiered at the Toronto International Film festival and was released on February 12, 2010; a soundtrack album is expected in fall 2010. In 2009, Blonde Redhead contributed to the AIDS benefit album Dark Was the Night produced by the Red Hot Organization.
Their new album, Penny Sparkle, was released on 14 September 2010 in US (and a day earlier in the rest of the world.). They currently are on a world tour in support of the album.

EDNASWAP DISCOGRAPHY
Ednaswap was an alternative rock band from Los Angeles, United States that existed between 1993 and 1998. During a span of five years, the band released four major label records on East West, Elektra Records and Island Records. The band is known for their song "Torn", which appeared on their debut album and was later covered by Natalie Imbruglia.
Like many bands, Ednaswap's sound evolved with nearly every release. Their self-titled debut could be best described as Post-grunge, but Chicken and Wacko Magneto were unquestionably grungy Hard rock with some similarities to Veruca Salt and Live Through This-era Hole. Wacko was also described by one reviewer as a "Sex Pistols, Mick Ronson, Led Zeppelin and Jimi Hendrix smoothie". Wonderland Park further altered their sound. It was an extremely melodic Pop rock album with some harder edges than most, again similar to Hole in both musical direction and timing. Before their dissolution, the band stated that they could have easily seen a return to the hardness of Wacko Magneto, and while no songs were ever recorded after Wonderland Park to back up this statement, Annetenna's work showed an even more polished Pop sound than Wonderland Park.

DISHWALLA DISCOGRAPHY
Dishwalla is an American alternative rock band. The band's name comes from a Hindi term for a person providing cable television to a neighborhood. In a Vox interview, Rodney claimed the band took the name out of a Wired magazine article.
In 1996, the single "Counting Blue Cars" from the album Pet Your Friends climbed the charts and was frequently played on the airwaves, bringing the band a short round of mainstream-scale success. The track earned them a Billboard Award for "Best Rock Song" for 1996 as well as two ASCAP Awards for "Rock Track Of The Year" in both 1996 and 1997. Their 1998 follow-up album, And You Think You Know What Life's About, failed to sustain the level of popularity achieved by "Counting Blue Cars".
Dishwalla have since made a handful of other ventures into the limelight. In 1995 the song "Counting Blue Cars" was featured in the movie "Empire Records". "Pretty Babies" is on the Blast From The Past soundtrack. In 1998 landed the song "Truth Serum" in The Avengers; in 1999, the song "Stay Awake" was featured in the movie Stir of Echoes' and the song "Find Your Way Back Home" was featured in the movie American Pie. In 2002 the song "Home" was in the movie The Banger Sisters and the The WB series Charmed spotlighted Dishwalla as musical guests in one episode. Other TV shows that have used their songs include Smallville, The OC, and NCIS. The band has gone on to release two more studio albums, Opaline and the self-titled Dishwalla, as well as a live album, Live... Greetings From The Flow State.
